Five Seats on the Executive Board
The Association uses progressive succession, which means only part of the Board stands down each year. Those who remain carry the working knowledge, and those who come in bring fresh energy. This year five seats are to be filled.
Any full member who has been a member for at least twelve months before the AGM is eligible to be nominated. Members standing down are eligible to stand again.
To stand, or to nominate another member, email the Secretary at [email protected] for a nomination form. Completed forms and a short nominee profile must be submitted not later than one week before the AGM. Profiles of all nominees will be published here one week before the meeting.

Voting
Only full members may vote, and new full members must have been registered for at least three months. Voting is by secret ballot, and each member has one vote.
Before voting, nominees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their nominators to speak. Members may put questions to them directly.
If You Cannot Attend
You can still have your say. Ask another full member who is attending to vote on your behalf as your proxy. Email [email protected] for a proxy form, which must be signed by both members. You may tell your proxy how to vote or leave the choice to her. Each member may hold a maximum of two proxies, so please check with your chosen member first.

You can check that your membership is current on your membership card, in the “Expires on” box in the bottom right corner, or through the membership portal at membermojo.co.uk/fwa-uk/yourmembership.
