The FWA-UK is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation established to project and bring together a balanced view of Filipino women, their diverse occupations as well as emphasising their importance and contribution to society by promoting friendship and understanding between the UK and the Philippines.
We work actively:
To provide funding for education opportunities to children in the Philippines disadvantaged by poverty and disability.
To offer support to victims of natural calamities in the Philippines.
To respond to the needs of the wider Filipino community in the UK, especially the elderly and the vulnerable.
Our Vision
We have a vision of a world where women, especially Filipino women in the UK and the Philippines, enjoy equality, respect, and opportunities for development in all aspects of life in the home and in the wider community.
