The Filipino Women’s Association UK welcomes applications for support to facilitate and enhance the delivery of good quality education to schools in the Philippines. These may be by way of education materials and equipment and other learning and teaching resources.
Who may apply?
Preference will be given to the following:
- Institutions, organisations or individuals with a link to schools in the Philippines affected by natural calamities;
- Institutions, organisations or individuals with a link to schools in remote areas in the Philippines that serve children who are disadvantaged through poverty and disability.
FWA UK Requirements
- Full details of the School in the Philippines to be supported including
1.1. a copy of the certification from the Department of Education,
1.2. school activities, and
1.3. the names and qualifications of teaching staff - The name and a detailed description of the project requiring funding and who will benefit
- The name, contact details and full details of the internationally recognised Philippine bank of the person who will manage the funds or project
- A detailed budget
- A recent photograph of the school
- Name and contact details of the organisation or individual submitting the application on behalf of the school.
