Objectives: To keep on helping the association in its vision and mission and bring something to the table that will help to enhance the Education and Scholarship Grants Committee – help our well-deserved underprivileged students in the Philippines.

Objectives: I truly believe in our mission and vision are aligned with my values and principles . Though I’m not particularly wealthy God giving me a blessings and heart to help and reach out those in need specially children and elderly .

Imee Pinto
FWA member since: 1988
Objectives: To continue giving support to FWA-UK members, guidance learns from others by accomplishing mission’s “scholarship” for children’s education in the Philippines.
GOALS: We need strategic planning, culture & core values. A specific aims & objectives to any projects of Organisations interest, abilities, personality, knowledge & skills & stages of development. It’s very important to set Goals to set & help achieve your vision which can measure the progress to have the ability & see how the Goal is progressing for the future outcome. Goal can also inspire us to focus on Visions. Accountability can be a better decision which comply w/ GDPR (General Data Protection
Regulation) which came into effect under UK law- in May 2018.
VISION: is a decision making to ensure it’s related to the plans/ goals. You need to be motivated to reach the “GOAL” you need to achieve. This can be considered with your own values, talent, passion & skills. Flexibility & time management is very important to make things easier to adjust & plan if necessary. We can learn from Goals identifying mistakes & learn from them to allow us how to improve yourself.
CONSTITUTION IMPROVEMENT.
Involve in a discussion as an Executive Board member of any amendment to update any documents. (Any minor change or additions) 3It’s a fundamental rule of how the Association run, to provide, secure &
promote information for the members.
Experience & Achievements:
- Learnt so much from previous members since commences office. Focusing on FWA-UK concrete project for Children’s Education Scholarship to make the Goals & Vision achieve.
- I did work & experienced all round FWA-UK EB outstanding committees.
- Been PND Coordinator several times & earned good interpersonal skills, communicate & interact with people around me in general with right attitude & personality, self-motivated, ability to communicate with others, have a good understanding a 2 way relationship & able to form a good foundation.
- Able to reach potential Donors & Sponsors to provide us support for a good cause. In return FWA-UK can give & help others who may be less fortunate. It increases my knowledge of communication, time management & leadership.
- With my understanding, we are charities & rely on voluntary donations & organising events. This practice gives the Association satisfaction of knowing FWA-UK by helping out Filipino children’s education in the Philippines & reach out Filipino’s & non-Filipino community who needs help here in UK.
Dulia Prado

Objectives: The Association has come a long way, a long and successful 35 years. With the members’ dedication, generosity in spirit , continued support and belief in the service to the community at home and in our adopted country, I would like to help develop further the essence of our collective contributions to society – contributions which seek no financial reward nor recognition but
which delivers outcomes to the enhancement of the public good.
