On Saturday, 18 May, FWA-UK (Filipino Women’s Association – UK) hosted a fun-filled afternoon of Charity Bingo in the charming garden of Nieves Bates in Barnes, London. While the weather wasn’t as sunny as we’d hoped, the atmosphere was warm and inviting!
Guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks, laughter, and of course, the thrill of competing for some fantastic prizes. We want to express our sincere thanks to all the generous sponsors who donated these wonderful items. Your support means the world to us!
Funds Raised for Education
Thanks to everyone who attended, we were able to raise a total of £364.55! This money will go directly towards supporting our scholars in the Philippines. Every pound raised makes a real difference in their lives and helps them achieve their educational goals.
A Community Effort
We’re so grateful to our incredible community for coming together and making this event a success. A special shout-out to Wilma Lone and Raquel Scrivens for capturing all the fun moments in photos.
