PND 2019

The Filipino Women’s Association-UK’s (FWA-UK) dinner and dance (8th of June 2019) came and went and the overall review – it was a rousing success! On behalf of the officers and members of the Association, our heartfelt thanks to everyone including H.E. Ambassador Antonio Lagdameo, our patron Mrs Maria Linda Lagdameo, all the Philippine Embassy officers, friends and family who joined us in this momentous occasion.

This year the Association’s theme is ‘Women Sharing Hopes and Celebrating Victories’, the posters of former Chairmen, FWA-UK member awardees displayed in the hotel foyer serve as inspiration to our members and to those of the wider Filipino and British communities. A mini gallery of some of our scholars and support a school programme we supported since FWA-UK was born 31 years ago were also displayed in the hotel foyer .

A big thank you to our major sponsors: Philippine Airlines (PAL), Megaworld, Department of Tourism (DOT), Jollibee, Dusit Thani Hotel, Manila, our donors, advertisers, our raffle and door prize donors who have always been generous in supporting our charitable causes.

Our appreciation goes to the Dinner & Dance Coordinating team this year headed by Clarita Richardson, Zanie Delmundo, Lydia Sumang, Carol Panday, Linda Challis and their members ​​who worked extremely hard to make our event tonight a success!
