The FWA-UK Executive Board and Trustees 2020/21 paid a courtesy call to His Excellency Ambassador Antonio Lagdameo and their Patron, Madame Maria Linda Floirendo Lagdameo on the 19th November 2020 via Google Meet.
Chairman Dulia Prado introduced the current Executive Board and Trustees, and expressed how lucky she is as Chair in having a dynamic team working alongside her. Chair Dulia gave an overview of some projects for this year which have been cancelled due to the current global pandemic.
The Fundraising Committee Chairman Linda Challis had initiated an online appeal to raise funds for the families who suffered from the devastation left by the recent multiple typhoons that struck the Philippines.
The Patron and Ambassador Lagdameo congratulated the Executive Board and Trustees and wished them a very successful year ahead.
The Chairman’s parting words, “Ma’am, the Executive Board members are mindful of their duty to preserve the integrity of our Patron, the integrity of our Ambassador Lagdameo and the integrity of our founder, Mme Angeles (Nene) Quimson. We are honoured to have your presence and very grateful for you time this afternoon. Thank you so much.”
