The Scholars, The Future

By: Clarita Richardson, Education and Scholarship Grants Committee Chairman

FWA-UK strongly believes in investing in young people’s education, and we have been seeing the results of our investment through our truly remarkable scholars. The pandemic has had a detrimental impact on education around the world, with disrupted schooling and home learning something many students are still having to contend with.  Recently, FWA-UK assisted those who have no access to computer in purchasing laptops to aid them with their home schooling.

The scholars from Vicente R. Bumanlag Sr. National High School in Nueva Ecija

With this in mind, it makes us even prouder to have received outstanding reports from all our scholars. One of them, Oliver Ed Arias is listed as a top student.

Another scholar, John Vic Capaycapay will be graduating in June 2022 and has already applied for further education at the University of the Philippines.

Most of FWA-UK’s scholars have taken up higher education and have succeeded in completing their chosen fields like Mary Jane Siat who is now an educator.

Surely, they have become the pride of their families and communities. And the pride of FWA-UK.
