The new officers and trustees of the FWA-UK paid a courtesy call to the Philippine Embassy in London on 7th October 2022 and were met with a warm welcome by the acting ambassador and Charge D’ Affaires Rhenita Rodriguez. FWA-UK Madam Chair Dulia Prado highlighted the mission and vision of the Association with education being the core objective.
The FWA-UK is a non-political and non-sectarian organisation established to project and bring together a balanced view of Filipino women, their diverse occupations as well as emphasising their importance and contribution to society by promoting friendship and understanding between the UK and the Philippines.
The Association is looking forward to future partnership with the Philippine Embassy.
