The FWA-UK Fundraising Committee has raised the sum of £2,800.25 to help our countrymen whose lives has been devastated, brought by the typhoons Rolly and Ulysses which hit our country last month.
The San Rafael Group in Bulacan made a short video and a letter to the FWA-UK for its contribution to the Typhoon Appeal. The money sent to the group went towards the purchase of rice and canned goods. We at the FWA-UK would like to do our part in collaborating with government and non-governmental organizations in the Philippines by sending financial aid to help and support our countrymen who have been greatly affected by these calamities.
FWA-UK has certainly made a positive impact in the lives of these young children. FWA-UK ensured that the past two projects were a success, and it is now continuing apace on the new project in support of the school library.
